Cookbook Club – Modern German Cookbook

51eby5a00sl-_sx258_bo1204203200_ This month our group tried recipes from Frank Rosin’s Modern German Cookbook. While everything was tasty and not too difficult to make, many said that they had to make tweaks or changes to the recipe (or if they didn’t they would if they tried it again). Overall though most were underwhelmed with the cookbook itself. In general they were looking for more classical German food and this book focused more on the modern twist.

Carrot and Dried Cherries Soup

Orange Sauerkraut

Veal Dumplings in a Caper Sauce

Mashed Potatoes with Olive Oil

Lentil Soup
